Q. What is it going to cost me to open a LINK (a) Agency (b) Franchise?
A. Starting a LINK agency or franchise is nill. Many factors, including location and whether previoulsy owned equipment eg Car & Phone will be incorporated into the business will affect this amount.

Q. What is your Agency/Franchise fee?
A. There are no Agency or Franchise fees, but there are strick sales targets for a Franchise..

Q. What is the commission payments?
A. The commission payments are a straight 15% of signed orders rising to 20% if deposits/order is paid.

Q. Where can I locate my LINK franchise?
A. We currently require Agents and Franchisees all over Ireland. Excellent markets and locations are available whereever there is a market. We can suggest one or you may pick the location, as long as it meets LINK's criteria and does not infringe on any existing LINK franchisees.

Q. Will my LINK franchised territory be protected?
A. Yes. Each franchise owner is granted an area, which no other LINK franchisee may enter. If a listing is obtained from your area by a other agent, you are entilled to Royalites of that sale. Agents do not have assigned terrirories to protect, but generally there is not more than one agent per area.

Q. Does LINK offer training?
A. Extensive training is required for all agent and franchisees. Owners or managers must successfully complete hands-on-training. Each LINK agenct and franchise receives a comprehensive operations manual. Annual and regional meetings update agents and franchisees on the latest strategies. Franchises also receive regularly scheduled visits from the corporate office.

Q. Do you have an advertising program?
A. Yes. Building goodwill and brand recognition is an essential ongoing objective for all of our operators. To accomplish this, the corporate office provides an extensive marketing program that includes a monthly local program for agents and franchises to participate in. This full color visual piece is distributed directly to local markets. Other promotional materials are available at the corporate office.

Q. What is the term of the agency/franchise?
A. The basic term for a LINK agency is 2 years and a franchise is 5 years. You may also renew for one additional 5-year term.

Q. Can I sell my franchise?
A. Yes, you can sell your business to any buyer approved by LINK's corporate office. There is a transfer fee for administrative and legal fees associated with the transfer.

Q. From the time I sign the franchise agreement, how long before I can open my business?
A. That depends on a number of variables, including selecting a territory and the number of prospective franchisees on our waiting list. However, you may be able to arrange financing, complete training in as little as three to four weeks.

Q. Does LINK offer financing?
A. Although LINK does not directly provide financing, we will assist you with arranging financing. In many cases we are able to direct franchisees to financing sources. However, these are third parties, and their decisions will be made independently of LINK.

Q.How much money will I make?
A. Profitability varies depending upon a number of factors, including sales, locations, and operating costs and the ability of the agency or franchisee to manage and control the business. Questions related to profit and loss are discussed during a later stage of the selection process.

An average sales person: 1-2 sales per day (approx £30k pa)
A good salesperson: 3-4 sales per day (approx £45k pa)
An excellent salesperson: 5 sales per day + (approx £60k pa)

The revenue you generate in commission per year is dependent on your own performance: commission is uncapped. The more you sell the more money you make. Your expenses such as phone costs and travel are paid for by each sales agent.

Currently an average sales person is selling approx 2 sales per day equating to £30,000 (take home) per annum.
