LINK is an acronym for Local Information, Numbers and Knowledge. LINK Directories is the publisher of Local Business Directories, Specialised Directories, an On-Line Web Directory and other associated products.

LINK Directories Agents are independent, self-employed contractors, who in their own time and at their own expense, contact local business owners and assist them in purchasing advertising space in LINK products through to completion of the sale of those services including collection of payment for those services, for a percentage of the sales fees.

LINK Directories Ltd is a subsidiary of IDS Media Group Ltd. IDS was started in 1994 as a database company supplying business information on businesses in Ireland to the direct marketing industry. IDS is a dynamic, entrepreneurial, indigenous company based in Newry, County Down. We are a local business committed to helping other local businesses. In 2003 the company began producing small business directories using this information under the brand Local Directories and then LINK Directories. In 2008, the same information was developed into the very successful www.LocalLINK.ie web site, attracting over 6 million searches a year.
